Christopher Russell MS PA-C

co-Founder/Owner & Physician associate
Christopher was raised in Bend and has always been deeply rooted in the Central Oregon community. He graduated from Bend High in 1997 and completed his Bachelor's of Science in Biology & Chemistry at Willamette University in 2001. With his ongoing desire to help those sick and injured, he completed his Master's of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2005 at Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR.
After returning to Bend, Chris worked in internal medicine before serving in community health in La Pine. He then moved his family to Kailua-Kona, Hawaii where he continued his work in community health for nearly a decade. He also served as Medical Director for 8 years, gaining valuable administrative experience.
In 2021, he returned to Bend to be close to family and to once again serve the community that has always been home. He has been working in internal and family medicine in Bend and is now the co-founder and owner of Elevation Family Health, ready to provide exceptional patient care in a new way. With over 25 years in the healthcare system, Chris understands its challenges and aims to bring positive change for his patients. He is passionate about helping people find wholeness and healing through all areas of health and wellness- mind, body, & spirit.
Chris' favorite person on the planet is his wife, Lallie, who he has been happily married to since 1999. He also has 5 lovely children including one adopted from Uganda in 2017, as well as his wonderful
daughter-in-law.
When not serving his patients, you can find Chris on the slopes of Mt Bachelor, camping and hiking with his family, and singing at church. He is always up for the next adventure. His faith is very important to him and seeks to share God's goodness with others.
Kristofer MCAllister
MS PA-C

co-Founder/Owner & Physician associate
Kristofer was born and raised in rural Oregon, he had numerous occupations before ultimately entering the medical industry. Kris farmed during high school spring breaks, fought wildland fires with the United States Forest Service during college summers, and worked at a small airport just before securing his first medical job at Salem Hospital.
Kris received a bachelor's degree from Western Oregon University before attending Pacific University, where he earned a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies in 2005. Over the past 20 years, he has gained a variety of medical and life experiences, including a beautiful family and a personal cancer diagnosis in 2016. He is pleased to report that both his family and their health are well.
Kris' medical experience began in community and primary care and later evolved into a walk-in clinic role, which he held for a total of 12 years. During the COVID pandemic, he worked for several Adventist/OHSU urgent care clinics, managing a wide range of medical issues. Just prior to joining Elevation Family Health, he spent three years in dermatology, diagnosing and treating all skin conditions, with a focus on skin cancer management.
When not practicing medicine, he can often be found fly fishing in quiet streams, enjoying coffee at a local café, or attending a local sporting event. If spotted, he encourages others to stop and say hello. Kris also has a deep heart for travelling abroad.
Kris is committed to helping individuals manage their health by focusing on its foundational building blocks. While addressing immediate needs is a priority, his main goal is to equip patients with the tools necessary to optimize their health, ultimately guiding them toward true freedom and well-being.
Theresa josue
BHS MA

Lead medical assistant
Theresa moved to Bend, Oregon, in 2007—nearly 20 years ago—and has spent most of that time working in healthcare. She began her career as a receptionist at a small naturopathic clinic, where she also handled medical billing. After gaining experience there, she transitioned to training as a Medical Assistant. Following her certification, she advanced to Lead Medical Assistant, where she led a team supporting clinical operations in fast-paced family care and urgent care settings.
During this time, Theresa earned her degree in Health Sciences to build a foundation for becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). After graduating from UC San Diego with specialized training in oral habilitation, she spent several years building a practice that supported and educated families as they navigated infant feeding and life with a new baby.
In 2024, she intentionally closed that chapter and stepped away from clinical infant feeding care.
Through her years in healthcare, Theresa developed a deep passion for providing meaningful, face-to-face patient care. She also created efficient, supportive clinical systems. She sought a role where she could use all her experience, and she found it at Elevation Family Health.
Theresa values working alongside providers who serve with genuine care and integrity. She feels honored to join a team that slows down, builds relationships, and treats each patient as an individual deserving of thoughtful, high-quality care.
Outside of work, Theresa enjoys creating art and treasures time with her favorite people—her four children—and gives all glory to God for it all.
